Planning your Wedding Stationery
Each Wedding set is made to order, so it can normally take up to 4-6 weeks for the complete order to be finished, but this cannot be done without your timely inputs. To help you think about Planning your stationery, this is an example of a typical timeframe.
1. You decide on the set you wish to purchase.
You can either order all items you require straight away; or depending on the length of time before the wedding day just Save The Date cards.
* We will typically produce the save the date cards within 7 working days of payment clearance and a completed Wedding information form (WIF). The WIF will be emailed or sent by post shortly after the order acknowledgement. We use the WIF to ask the style of insert, the date, and the names of the parties involved in the big day. All these details are kept in strict confidence, and are destroyed following the successful supply of the goods.
2. The WIF needs to be fully completed and returned, before we can start on your order. If it has not been returned within 6 weeks of payment clearance, despite our attempts to chase it or not, we may consider the order cancelled, and your monies returned less any fees applicable. We are unable to proceed without a WIF, and it is a condition of any order placed for personalised items on this site.
3. If you have ordered multiple items from a set, filled out and returned your WIF, we will produce one daytime and one evening invitation, the menu (if content known at that time), plus a copy of the Order of Service ( or Order of Ceremony for Civil services ) all finished complete with inserts.
*This First Off set will usually be completed within 14 days after payment clearance and WIF receipt date.
4. When you receive the First off set, you will find included with it a Product Acceptance Checklist (PAC). You need to check that you are happy with all the sets items, one final check that names are spelt correctly, dates are correct, times are correct, and initial the "All correct" box for each item, or tick the "Changes required" box with a note of the change. Please make certain that the Vicar has approved the Order of Service, and sign the box to confirm. Then pop the card in the post (or use the email PAC which will have been emailed when the set was despatched). Once that we have that confirmation, we will send you an email confirming receipt and advising how long delivery will be for the remaining items, which will usually be around 4 - 6 weeks to complete the order. (We may issue a further approval item for acceptance if there are any changes).
5. With orders for Table Seating Planners or Named Place Cards, we need the information around 6 weeks prior to the wedding / event, in order to complete in time.
6. Please ensure that a clear font is used i.e. Arial or Times New Roman for the Email WIF, and clear block capitals for the written version. We do not accept responsibility for errors reproduced from the WIF, no matter how obvious they may seem to you with hindsight !
7. If you require stationery in a shorter timeframe please contact us with your requirements and we will try to accomodate your needs. There is a charge for this Express service.
General
Card Colours. Wedding cards are produced on high quality White or Cream Linen Card, or with Pearl, Ivory or White Pearlescent card, as described with each set.
Card Detail Colours and Theme's. The colour of the cards details can be varied to match your own colour Scheme or altered to reflect the Theme of your wedding. Please enquire if you have a specific requirement when placing your order.
Inserts. When ordering your Wedding cards, you will have the choice of either a Traditional or Modern design for the inserts. There are special rules that apply to Order of Service (Church) or Order of Ceremony (other venues), and the content may need to be approved by your Vicar. The WIF has details on what you need to do to get these approved. Whilst we do all we can to help in this process, we cannot guarantee approval will be granted.
General. All Colours are approximate in description and appearance. Any reference to Gold or Silver is in relation to colour only and does not infer any precious metal is used. Hand Made or Assembled goods, Paper and Card may vary slightly in colour, layout or content and this is normal for this type of product and therefore this aspect is excluded from the warranty. We always try to produce an order from matched batches of materials, but variations may occur if part sets are ordered separately. Please discuss your requirements if this applies.
